Indoor RC Racing, is fast and fun. The track offers loads of grip, and the smaller space brings tighter racing. Our track at Dallam School is becoming known as one of the best in the North West. We extended it last year and added more jumps! We book the sports hall until 2pm, so to cram in as much racing as possible we run a tight ship.
Doors open 8:30am - Please come early and help set up, if lots of people help we have time for free practice.
Racing Starts at 9:30am
There is a 1 min gap between races. You must have your car turned on and in the start area, and be queued ready to join the rostrom before the end of the race prior to yours.
We aim to complete 4 rounds of qualifying, and 2 finals. (6 runs)
This depends on the number of people available to help take down the track. With lots of help the track can be down in 15mins and we have time for more racing!
Racing ends strictly at 1:45pm to clear down the track

know us
Hobbies are great, and at our club we welcome everyone keen to get involved. The cars we run are the popular 1:10 scale electric buggies. South Lakes Club is host to both Vintage and Modern racing, and hosts the big Lakeland Classic event that brings together Vintage RC racers from around the country.
Our club members range in age from about 10 years old to the over 70s. We race every fortnight on a Sunday morning.
